View Report

To ensure measurable progress, we have developed a 2025- 2030 Sustainability Strategy with annual targets that align with the UAE’s sustainability goals. This strategy focuses on:

  • Resource Management: Optimizing the use of energy, water, and materials across campus operations to minimize waste and enhance efficiency. This includes transitioning to renewable energy sources, implementing water-saving technologies, and promoting circular economy practices.
  • Sustainable Infrastructure: Designing and retrofitting campus buildings to meet the highest standards of sustainability, including LEED certification and energy-efficient technologies.
  • Academia and Research: Providing students with access to sustainability-related courses, programs, and materials to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to address global environmental challenges. We also encourage and support cutting-edge research in sustainability, including renewable energy, carbon capture, climate resilience, and sustainable urban development, fostering innovation and practical solutions.
  • Community Engagement: Empowering students, faculty, and staff to take part in sustainability initiatives, from waste reduction programs to awareness campaigns.
