Mobile Networks and 5G
Researchers working under this facility aim to develop highly intelligent communication nodes with high level of independence that make such entities truly autonomous.聽 Experiments are being carried out to enhance the energy of wireless networks and spectral efficiency by developing novel caching and energy harvesting strategies, new multiple access techniques and efficient bandwidth reuse. Moreover, investigations are being made to explore the full potential and performance limits of a variety of spectrum ranges in order to enable access to large contiguous bands of spectrum that are presently inaccessible to mobile systems.
