Our objective is to provide opportunities for local and international communities to participate in science, engineering and medicine through a range of activities and to contribute to society through partnerships and outreach activities.
The YFEL program is designed to inspire, inform, and equip youth to lead in the fields of energy, climate change, and sustainability. Through interactive methods, including technical content and skill-building workshops, the curriculum merges academic and practical perspectives, featuring sessions such as panel discussions, debates, technical workshops, seminars, and soft skills training in areas like research, writing, and leadership.
Al Nokhba Program, launched by Khalifa University and NSRA in 2019, is a program that provides top National Service recruits with advanced scientific and technical training. It aims to prepare them for postgraduate studies, enhance UAE engineers' technical skills, represent the UAE in global competitions, and contribute to scientific research.
Khalifa University's Visiting Undergraduate Student Research Experience Program provides high achieving Junior and Senior level undergraduate students from Khalifa University and other universities an opportunity to work on a research project under the supervision of one of Khalifa University's faculty for 6-8 weeks.
Ektashif Robotics Camp supports Abu Dhabi’s 2030 vision by equipping high-achieving high school students with robotics skills, including automation, sensor integration, and mechanical design, to foster knowledge-based industries. The program enhances students' expertise in AI and robotics, critical thinking, leadership, and university preparedness through hands-on projects and workshops.
The Smart Mobile Application Contest focuses on developing innovative mobile apps. It challenges participants to use AI for sustainable solutions. The competition provides a platform to showcase creativity and technical skills. Participants develop impactful applications that contribute to a better future.
A competitve AI and coding challenge held at the Dubai Airshow, featuring rigorous selection rounds, expert-led coaching sessions, and evaluations by a distinguished judging panel. Participants compete to showcase innovative solutions, pushing the boundaries of AI and coding excellence.
A hands-on winter camp focused on AI, where high school students explore machine learning, neural networks, and real-world applications through interactive workshops and projects. Designed for all skill levels, the camp provides expert guidance and practical experience to deepen AI knowledge.
The Ro'ya Program, in partnership with ADNOC, offers high school students hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry through interactive workshops, real-world projects, and mentorship sessions with experts from Khalifa University. It aims to develop students' leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while introducing them to energy sector careers and AI applications in the industry.
The National Ambassadors Program Estedad, led by the UAE Ministry of Education, equips high school students (Grades 10-12) with academic excellence, entrepreneurship skills, and research experience through three specialized tracks: Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Enrichment, and Scientific Research at Khalifa University. The program fosters creative thinking, technical expertise, and global representation while preparing students for higher education and scientific contributions.
Khalifa University, in partnership with the NSRA, offers a specialized program for National Service recruits, providing in-depth learning in scientific and technical fields. The program spans from spring to summer, combining freshman-level courses, advanced programming, technical training, professional development, and research exposure to enhance academic and career readiness.
The KU winter youth camp at Khalifa University, offers students from top Chinese universities an immersive academic and cultural experience in the UAE. The program combines academic enrichment, cultural exploration, and industry networking to enhance students' skills, adaptability, and professional connections.
A specialized training and orientation program offering industry exposure, hands-on data analysis workshops, and career mentorship. Designed to equip participants with practical skills, it bridges the gap between academic knowledge and professional success in the field of math and statistics.
Musabaqat is a prestigious mathematics competition for undergraduate students from top universities across the GCC region. It challenges participants with complex problems to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. The event fosters knowledge-sharing, promotes mathematics education and research, and inspires future careers in the field.
In August 2020 KU launched the Community Webinar Series, a string of educational webinars designed to teach and inform the general public about a variety of beneficial topics, ranging from lessons on the coronavirus to lessons on how to better understand your personality, build leadership skills, create a sustainable lifestyle, and many more.
The series is targeted towards everyone – from high school and university students, to parents, professionals and anyone in between who is interested in broadening their skillset and knowledge. The seminars were offered free of charge to the local and international community of learners as an extension of our active commitment to exchanging knowledge and resources in the spirit of collaboration to promote a happier, more engaged community, and a more sustainable world.
