Biography

Dr. Abdelrahman Eltoukhy is an Assistant Professor at the Management Science and Engineering Department at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Before joining Khalifa University, Dr. Eltoukhy was a faculty member at esteemed institutions such as The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Eltoukhy obtained his B.Sc. in Production Engineering from Helwan University in Egypt. He furthered his education by earning his M.Sc. in Engineering and Management from Politecnico Di Torino in Italy. Subsequently, he completed his Ph.D. in Logistics Engineering and Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong.

 

His research interests encompass a wide range of areas, including Airline Schedule Planning, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Simulation, AI Optimization, Construction Management, and Robot Localization and Mapping. Dr. Eltoukhy actively engages in research and has published in reputable journals, including IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Cleaner Production, Automation in Construction, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, Computers & Industrial Engineering, and Industrial Management & Data Systems.
