Ahmed finished his PhD in Petroleum Geoscience in January 2024 from Khalifa University. He joined Khalifa University in late March 2024 as a post-doctoral fellow. Ahmed published and coauthored several articles in Q1 and Q2 journals. He acts as an Editorial Board Member for the Petroleum Geoscience journal and a reviewer for several Q1 and Q2 journals.
