Ahmed Ali earned his BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Sharjah in 2005. He joined Khalifa University in 2011, and later earned his MSc in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the same university in 2016. With almost 20 years of experience, he has extensive teaching and technical expertise in computer and electrical engineering labs, particularly in digital systems design and electronic circuits, as well as physics labs.
Ahmed's research focuses on advanced microscopy techniques in nanoscale fabrication and characterization using Field Ion Microscopy (FIM) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), with applications in semiconductor materials. His work has been integral to the development of patented FIM and AFM systems at Khalifa University. Moreover, Ahmed's research interests involves digital systems design and FPGA-based implementation.
