Biography

Ameer Abdul Quadir is an accomplished electrical engineer specializing in high-voltage applications.

With over 14 years of expertise, he brings substantial experience in high-voltage research, laboratory design, and the development of advanced testing prototypes. Ameer's research focuses on high-voltage applications, including dielectric material characterization, insulation system design, and pulse power technologies. His role at Khalifa University involves overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring safe testing protocols, and advancing high voltage prototype development for reserach applications.

Throughout his career, Ameer has contributed to several pioneering projects, such as the development of high-voltage solid-state pulse generators and new insulation materials. His technical skills include expertise in AC/DC testing, partial discharge analysis, impulse voltage testing, and electrostatic modeling, supported by proficiency in COMSOL, Maxwell, and SolidWorks. Ameer's dedication to innovation is reflected in his work designing testing circuits, leading laboratory upgrades, and managing comprehensive research projects for both academic and industry applications.
