Biography

Prof. Mourad is currently a Visiting Professor of Computer Science at Khalifa University Abu Dhabi. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Canada, a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Laval University, Canada, and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Notre Dame University, Lebanon. Prof. Mourad led several research and industrial projects and published in top-tier international venues more than 160 research papers in Cybersecurity, Federated Machine Learning, Applied AI, Intelligent Service/Network/Computation Optimization and Management in Emerging Technologies including Internet of Things, Cloud/Fog/Edge Computing, and Vehicular and Mobile Systems and Networks. He is on the World’s Top 2% Scientists List published by Stanford University and several research excellence awards. He has been awarded major international, national, and local grants for funding his graduate students and research projects. He graduated 33 and currently leading a team of 12 Postdoctoral fellows, Ph.D., and M.Sc. students at Khalifa University, Lebanese American University, ETS Montreal, Polytechnique Montreal, Concordia University and Lebanese University.
