Dalia Yousri received her B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Fayoum University, Fayoum, Egypt, in 2011, 2016, and 2020, respectively. She is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at Fayoum University, Egypt. In April 2022, she joined Khalifa University as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Advanced Power and Energy Research Center. In November 2024, she was promoted to Research Scientist at Khalifa University’s Advanced Power and Energy Research Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dr. Yousri received an Award of Excellence in Scientific Research at Fayoum University in 2021. She has also been recognized as one of the world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford University. Her current research interests include integrated energy management systems, modeling, analysis, and control of microgrids, and the application of optimization techniques in renewable-energy-based systems.
Dr. Yousri serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals, including IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, IEEE Access, Elsevier Energy Conversion and Management, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, and Applied Energy.
