Biography

Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Earth Sciences

Dr. Harish is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Earth Sciences Department at Khalifa University since February 2022. He previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Physical Research Laboratory (ISRO, India). He earned his PhD in Planetary Remote Sensing from the Indian Institute of Technology (Gandhinagar, India) and Physical Research Laboratory (Ahmedabad, India) in 2021. One of the Ðǿմ«Ã½ of his PhD work is the discovery of water ice within two northern lowland craters on Mars, and one of these craters is named after his village name "Bohar" as Bohar Crater. His current research works are focused on the geological and geophysical understanding of the planetary surface and subsurface processes with the main focus on Mars, the Moon, and Ceres.
