Dr. Elias Zikkos was born in 1969 in Famagusta, Cyprus. He obtained his B.A in Mathematics in 1994 from The Johns Hopkins University, MD, U.S.A, and his M.A and PhD in Mathematics in 1999 and 2005 respectively from the University of Cyprus. He is the author of 20 articles in mathematical journals, in the areas of real-complex analysis and approximation theory. He taught mathematics in high schools in Cyprus from 2009 until 2018. He was a visiting assistant professor at the American University of Sharjah from 2007-2009. Dr. Zikkos joined Khalifa University in 2019. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Mathematics Department.
