Dr. Abbas holds a PhD in Education, specializing in Curriculum & Methods of Teaching Arabic Language, from Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan. With a rich academic background, he brings over 30 years of experience in teaching Arabic language and methodology. Prior to his tenure at the Ku, Dr. Abbas served as a distinguished lecturer at the Religious Teachers’ University College, Brunei Darussalam, where he dedicated 19 years to fostering scholarly excellence.
His journey in academia extends across borders, having contributed significantly to the International Islamic University in Malaysia for over four years. Additionally, his expertise was honed during his tenure of approximately seven years with the Ministry of Education, Sudan. Dr. Abbas has proven himself to be a versatile educator, adept at instructing both native and non-native learners at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
At the heart of his scholarly pursuits lies a passion for enhancing the pedagogical landscape of Arabic language education. His research delves into modern methodologies of teaching and learning Arabic, He presented several articles in language teaching and learning at conferences. He has also published books on Arabic Language teaching and learning.
