Ilyas Khurshid is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Khalifa University. Before joining Khalifa University, Ilyas was a faculty member at UAE University and worked as a senior engineer at KPOGCL. His research focuses on fluid flow in porous media, geochemical modeling, thermal hydraulics, and numerical modeling.
Ilyas has received several prestigious awards, including the Samsung Global Hope Scholarship, the Japanese Government Research Fellowship, and the Superior Academic Performance Scholarship at Seoul National University. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, and both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Energy Systems Engineering from Seoul National University in South Korea.
