Biography

Dr. Immanuvel Paul serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Khalifa University since January 2024. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Lecturer in Thermal Engineering at Newcastle University, UK. Dr. Paul also contributed to research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Turbulence Research (CTR), Stanford University, USA.

His academic journey includes earning a PhD from Imperial College London, UK, where he received the prestigious Marie-Curie Fellowship. His doctoral thesis was recognized as a runner-up in the Aeronautics PhD prize in 2017. 

Dr. Paul's research expertise lies in thermofluids, turbulence, and computational fluid dynamics. He is particularly passionate about utilizing numerical methods to study, analyze, and model complex physical systems.
