Dr. K. Karuppasamy is a Research Scientist at the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Khalifa University-Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He received his Ph.D. in nanocomposite electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries at Anna University, Chennai. He fulfilled post-doctorate positions at the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India, and the Department of Chemical Engineering, Sogang University, Seoul, South Korea. From 2017-2023, he worked as an Assistant/Associate Professor at the Division of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Dongguk University-Seoul, South Korea. His research interests mainly focus on synthesizing and characterizing nanostructured 2D materials for energy storage and conversion devices. He has one patent and six book chapters with his name. He has published over 140 research papers in well-reputed international journals and has been the author of over 30 international and national conference papers.
