Mohammad Alrwashdeh is heavily involved and experienced in the peaceful applications of nuclear science and technologies. His expertise spans reactor physics core design, criticality safety, and enhanced nuclear data processing and evaluation for criticality safety calculations. He also has on hand practical experience in research reactor commissioning and operation.
Alrwashdeh’s academic journey began at the Hashemite University in Zarqa, Jordan, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Physics. He then moved to Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, where he completed his Master’s and PhD in Nuclear Science and Technology in 2011 and 2014, respectively.
Throughout his career, Alrwashdeh has held various positions. He was a research assistant at Tsinghua University and a researcher at the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission. He is employed at Khalifa University of Science Technology in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
In addition to his professional roles, Alrwashdeh is a member of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and an executive member of the ANS-UAE section. He has contributed to numerous works in his field, with publications on reactor physics, nuclear data processing and evaluation, reactor kinetics, and criticality safety.
