Motiur Reza Mohammed (Member, IEEE), obtained his B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SASTRA University, India, and his M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune (CoEP), India. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, IITBHU, India in Electrical Engineering.
He has experience designing motors for electric vehicles. Additionally, he has worked on the design of linear induction motors for electromagnetic control of adhesion in rotary motor-based railways' traction.
From April 2019 until December 2022, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Power Electronics and Sustainable Energy Research Laboratory, Advanced Power and Energy Center (APEC), Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. His research focused on electric motor design and high-gain DC-DC converters for electric vehicle applications.
Since January 2023, Dr. Mohammed has been associated with the Advanced Power and Energy Center (APEC) at Khalifa University under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Vinod Khadkikar. As part of the project, he is currently working on advanced power converters for fuel-cell electric vehicles and V2V charging.
