Mubashir Hassan is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Khalifa University. He earned his PhD in Nuclear Science and Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. His research primarily focuses on Nuclear Thermal-Hydraulics and the numerical modeling of multiphase flow and heat transfer phenomena in Pressurized Water Reactors.
Throughout his academic journey, Mubashir has received numerous accolades, including the Xi’an Jiao Tong University Scholarship and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Scholarship during his MS and PhD programs. He was also honored with the Best Research Student Award from the Innovative Nuclear System Lab at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Mubashir holds a BS in Applied Physics from the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science, and Technology Islamabad and an MS in Energy and Power Engineering from Xi’an Jiao Tong University, Xi’an, China.
