Dr. Nareg Baghous is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical & Nuclear Engineering at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He earned his Ph.D. from Khalifa University, where his research focused on the development of macro-mechanics-based constitutive models that can effectively and efficiently predict the elastic-plastic-damage response of architected materials without explicitly modeling these materials.
During his doctoral studies, Dr. Nareg published multiple research articles in top-ranking journals, for which he was awarded an ‘Elite Young Researcher Award’ from Khalifa University for his publications in the Top 5% journals.
Dr. Nareg’s primary research field of interest is in the field of additive manufacturing and constitutive & failure modeling of materials.
