Nouf Alabbasi is pursuing a PhD with the 6G Research Center聽at Khalifa University in the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering. She earned her BS in Computer Science, with minors in Economics and Interactive Media, from New York University.
Driven by a passion for education and game development, Nouf undertook many projects during her undergraduate studies, including developing an educational game app for children in Botswana to enhance learning through technology. She also initiated and led the tech team in Westem, a student group dedicated to empowering women in STEM. Additionally, her capstone project focused on Arabic dialects and NLP, giving her a deep appreciation for the challenges of developing tools to analyze and mimic human language. Nouf's current research explores the application of Large Language Models (LLMs) in the 6G core network.
