Biography

I completed my PhD research study at University of Glasgow (QS World University Ranking 2024 = 76) in 2024. I obtained my undergraduate and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cukurova University in 2015 and 2018, respectively.
I am a passionate and dedicated researcher in the field of thermal energy storage by applying energy efficient storage materials. Having strong experience in experimental and computational fluid dynamics methods of nanofluids and phase change materials for thermal energy conversion and storage systems by emphasizing the radiative heat transfer and light-matter interaction, my work has given me a strong technical background in the combined optics and heat transfer process, material science, thermo-fluid dynamics, fundamental research and understanding of the problems associated with the complex interactions of heat, mass and momentum transport in energy systems. Based on my PhD study, I have authored 7 Q1 journal articles and 12 research papers for highly rated conferences and was invited to 3 talks as a young researcher. I have also developed my teaching, verbal, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage time, solve problems, be well organized and self-motivated, work effectively both as a member of a team and independently. Further, I am currently a Guest Editor for Energies, MDPI and a reviewer for more than 20 high-impact and multidisciplinary journals.
