Dr. Peng-Yong Kong is an Associate Professor of the Computer and Information Engineering Department at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He was previously an adjunct Assistant Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, National University of Singapore, concurrent to the appointment of Research Scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research, Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore. He was also an Engineer with Intel Malaysia. He received his BEng (first class honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Universiti Sains Malaysia, and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore. His research interests are in the broad area of computer and communication networks, cyber-physical systems as well as networked systems and communications.
