Dr. Santhoshkumar Palanisamy is a Research Scientist in the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Kyung Hee University in the Republic of Korea, where he also completed a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2019 to 2020 in the Department of Chemical Engineering. Before joining Khalifa University, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Millimeter-wave Innovation Technology and Research Center, Institute of Future Technology, Dongguk University-Seoul, South Korea, from 2020 to 2024.
Dr. Palanisamy's research primarily focuses on synthesizing nanomaterials for energy storage and conversion applications, specifically emphasizing batteries, supercapacitors, and photo-electrocatalysis. His innovative approach is further demonstrated by the fact that he holds a patent, a testament to his unique contributions to material science and energy storage applications.
