Biography

He has more than 30 years of professional experience covering petrochemical industry, research and academic institutions. He was a faculty of University Science Malaysia, Curtin University and Monash University, before joining the Petroleum Institute, Abu Dhabi, in the year 2009 as associate professor. He has published more than 300 journal papers in reputed top ranked journals. He was promoted to full professor position in the year 2014. He has supervised a number of graduate students. He holds an honorary professor position with the Kunming University of Science and Technology, Kunming, China. He is among the top 0.05% worldwide in ‘highly ranked scholars-Life time’ category as per ScholarGPS.
