Dr. Sruthi Padampath Sreenivasan is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Earth Sciences, Khalifa University of Science and Technology. She works on the continental and marine sedimentary deposits of Abu Dhabi to understand the Late Quarternary eustatic sea level and climate changes as an analog for the future evolution of the Abu Dhabi coastline. Her research is focused on U-series and radiocarbon age dating, dual-clumped isotope thermometry, and conventional stable isotope geochemistry.
She holds an Integrated Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Geological Sciences from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata). Later, she obtained her Ph.D. in sedimentology and low-temperature stable isotope geochemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur), India.
