ABOUT

The Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry Core (ACBC) Laboratory provides advanced research equipment support the Khalifa University research community. All ACBC users must be trained on equipment use by facility staff, who provide training support to the KU research community on a wide range of advanced analytical chemistry and biochemistry instruments in a safe and well-resourced laboratory that is available to meet the needs of the researchers.

This lab comprises two central sections: the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory and the Biochemistry Laboratory.

Analytical Chemistry Laboratory:
The Analytical Chemistry Lab provides support to the KU research community on a wide range of advanced analytical instruments. It is capable of performing advanced techniques for custom and routine chemical analysis.

Biochemistry Laboratory:
The Biochemistry Lab provides expert support to the KU research community on a wide range of advanced biochemistry instruments. This includes advanced techniques for routine microbiological and molecular biology analysis.

Location

SAN Campus, Arzanah Building

HOURS OF OPERATION

Trained and certified users can access equipment from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Sunday till Thursday.
