H.E. Samar Al MansooriÌýis a UAE National with over 22 years of experience in corporate management, governance, strategy implementation, procurement & supply chain, and contracts management. She joined Khalifa University last August and has successfully led and delivered transformation initiatives on Procurement, Human Resources, Administration, Facilities, and EHS.
Before joining KU, she worked in government organizations and semi-government entities across various sectors such as aerospace & defense services, investment, manufacturing, and real estate with prominent organizations such as ADEK, Mubadala Aerospace (MIC), EDIC and TDIC.
Prior to joining KU, she served as Executive Director of Support Services at ADEK and Executive Director of Group Supply Chain at EDIC where she managed the Joint Procurement Services (JPS) office for 15 companies, achieving significant savings on common spend categories. Before that, Samar was Executive Director of Project Services at TDIC, overseeing procurement and contract management for critical projects like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Saadiyat infrastructure construction phase.
Samar has also been a board member at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and TAS. She has also chaired several governance committees, including Digital Transformation, Tender & Auction, and Business Continuity.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from UAE University, she is also a Certified Professional Leader in Management (CPL) and has completed the Oxford Strategic Leadership for Digital Transformation certification. Additionally, she is a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS).
