The Department of Public Health & Epidemiology at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences is home to faculty with diverse background capable of meeting the challenges of听 rapidly evolving curricula and educating and training future Public Health Specialists. The integrated approach used within the Department and across other Departments at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences provides many opportunities for our faculty and students to advance their interdisciplinary, basic and translational, research. Researchers and future students within the department have access to state-of-the-art research facilities and the necessary space to perform innovative research using cutting edge analytical technologies that will undoubtedly lead to fundamental public health research output with clinical applicability.

To develop transformational leaders in public health to tackle the challenges of the future, promote health and wellbeing in the United Arab Emirates, and contribute to research findings and discoveries that lead to significant improvement of human health.
