Dr. Elrashid Abbas holds a PhD in Education (Curriculum & Methods of Teaching Arabic Language) from Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan. He is a specialist academic of Arabic Language and Culture. Previously, he worked at the Religious Teachers鈥� University College, Brunei Darussalam for several years.
Dr. Abbas was awarded the Sultan Brunei Medal for Excellence in Service in 2009 in recognition of my service to education. His research focuses on developing modern methods of Arabic teaching and learning for both native and non-native learners. He uses a research-lead innovative teaching and learning methods.
