Welelaw Yenieneh Lakew received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Mekelle University, Ethiopia, in 2007 and his MSc degree in Communication Engineering from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, in 2011. He has been pursuing his Ph.D. degree at Khalifa University, UAE, since 2020 with the Department of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include wireless communications and networking, signal processing, integrated sensing and communications, smart grid communications, and applied machine learning in communications.
